How does it work? 

The contact parent and growth facilitator collaborate via email or phone to develop three main goals for the Member, as well as to choose a regular time slot for subscribing members, or a one-time slot for a la carte intensives. After each intensive, feedback outlining topics discussed will be sent within 48 hours to both Member and Contact Parent.

Do you do tutoring? 

We are not tutors. Our services are intended to support students and families in their educational journeys through guided problem-solving and critical thinking, encouragement, and accountability.

What are Intensives?

Intensives are 25-minute one-on-one video calls with a growth facilitator.

What are Ignite Initiatives? 

They are monthly initiatives that members can add onto their subscriptions. Some are short-term, some will last all month, but a different Initiative is offered each month. Each one focuses on a different skill or interest. There is no commitment--you choose which, if any, Initiatives you would like to opt into. Fees vary. If there is an initiative you would like to see offered, we would love to hear your suggestion!

Who can subscribe? 

Students of any age can subscribe, as can parents.

What happens if I am late to my Initiative or miss it altogether? 

If you are late, you will find your Facilitator in the meeting room waiting for you. Your facilitator may be able to stay a few minutes late to make up lost time on some occasions. If you miss your scheduled Intensives completely, please contact your Facilitator within 24 hours to choose a make-up date and time from a pre-set range of choices. A make-up session is a courtesy. Barfleur Bespoke Education Strategies reserves the right to refuse make-up sessions when this courtesy is abused.

Form of Payment 

We accept credit and debit card payments and checks. Non-check payments include a 3% surcharge. Services can begin once payment is received.

Outcomes

Strategy outcomes are not guaranteed, as the very nature of our services depends on implementation by members, and because there are simply too many factors outside our control, and in life, that can affect outcomes. Many outcome targets are subjective. We encourage members and parents to routinely assess what is working best and what needs to be adapted, both in educational approaches and in our service relationship.
